My client is a premium, well known a loved food FMCG brand in the UK, currently dominating the market in their sector. They live and breathe innovation; and always trying to be ahead of their competitors with New NPD and Marketing campaigns. They are experiencing phenomenal growth YOY, which has resulted in the need to expand their current sales team with a National Account Manager.

Job Description

The National Account Manager your responsibilities will include;

Account management - manage and develop our relationship with one or more of our key customers. You'll have full P&L responsibility for one or more of the "Big 6" grocery retailers, as well as seeking and cultivating new business opportunities

Forecasting - generate and own the commercial forecast for you customers. You'll work with the commercial, product and operations teams to ensure demand aligns with supply

Customer insight - hone a deep knowledge of your customers' and their markets. You'll use this to guide your customer plans, and also present back to business strategy

Commercial strategy - help develop and implement our commercial plans, ensuring your customers have the right range, promotions and marketing to maximise profitable growth

Analysis - dig into the data to guide and support decision making. You'll work with Excel and various data sources to measure performance, and generate insight.

The Successful Applicant

You are an accomplished National Account Manager - Grocery looking to progress your career with an exciting brand. With classical FMCG training you have experience of managing one of the top six grocers with a sizeable P&L. You also have experience of leading and developing a national account executive or a junior NAM. You are of a degree calibre and can demonstrate a strong track record of sales achievements.

You thrive in a team environment and motivated by working for a leading FMCG brand.

The office is based in Brighton 2-3 days a week.
