About Our Client

My client is a well known household name brand, UK based with a growing international presence, manufacturing a vast range of electronic products and a key supplier to most outlets.

Job Description

Reporting into the senior national account manager, you will be expected to exceed sales targets and deliver exceptional account management whilst taking on a somewhat entrepreneurial approach to the role in order to grow business. You will develop and implement a sales plan and be responsible for accurate forecasts and industry analysis.

Focus will be on business growth, closely working with current high profile clients in order to strengthen relationships and identifying profitable new business opportunities. You will be working with a range of national accounts across the retail sectors and take on full P&L accountability.

You will be looking after a portfolio of products; industry and product knowledge will be key to success within this role.

National travel will be required.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 3 years experience within the consumer electronics market OR 5 years experience within the consumer durables/housewares industry
  • Experience and confidence to deal with national retailers
  • Category management and product portfolio experience
  • Ability to negotiate and influence
  • Astute analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Proven track record of working to and exceeding targets
