About Our Client

Kepak Convenience Foods (a division of Kepak Group) are a market leading, award winning business, producing a range of Hot Snacking products for retailers in the UK, Ireland and Europe. The business's primary focus is to provide the customer with optimum choice and value, therefore it is vital to build genuine relationships with retailers and suppliers so that they can learn from each other. To make this happen, I am looking for an results driven, convenience national account manager to aid and support the business's ambitious growth plans.

Job Description

As a convenience National Account Manager you will be responsible for but not limited to the following;

  • Deliver agreed annual budgets across volume, revenue and profit within all accounts
  • Full P&L responsibility for all accounts within portfolio
  • Manage BTL spend within agreed budget and ensure accurate and up to date records are in place
  • Provide accurate forecasting and reporting back to the business
  • Develop Joint Business Plan within all managed accounts.
  • Manage customer relations across all accounts ensuring all contacts are engaged and ensure enrolment of Channel Director
  • Monitor and look to constantly improve ROI
  • Leading and delivering real Category Management solutions
  • Ensure all day to day internal and external administration is completed in full and on time
  • Work with Category Management to provide insight and category risks to provide opportunities to direct Kepak business





The Successful Applicant

As an accomplished FMCG sales person, ideally you will have knowledge and experience within the convenience channel. You may be a Junior National Account Manager looking to take the next step or you are an existing National Account Manager looking for a forward thinking company that can offer a new challenge.

The ideal candidate profile is:

    • Educated to degree level
    • Relatively easy access to head office in Preston
    • Fully computer literate
    • Minimum 1 years national accounts experience with a proven track record of financial capability
    • Excellent negotiator and commercially astute
    • Determination to achieve and willingness to continually learn
    • Proven record of demonstrating initiative and delivering results
    • A passionate and committed individual with a strong drive for results is required for this role
    • The ability to work as part of a team in a fast paced environment is essential
    • Ability to build open and honest relationships with people on all levels of the business.
