Job Description

The role as National Account Manager will see the successful candidate drive both current accounts and a small team of 2 in propelling the company through the long term future.

  • Key focus on managing one of the largest company accounts; Tesco
  • Work not only with external stakeholders but also cross-functionally with internal stakeholders in the business
  • Reach and exceed annual sales targets
  • Visit key accounts on a weekly/monthly basis to deliver new opportunities, negotiate contracts, discount and promotional activity
  • Handling of the whole sales process from initial contact through to the completion of sale and aftercare of the accounts
  • Promote and represent the brand in a professional and competent manner
  • Lead the team from the front to motivate and reach long term goals

The Successful Applicant

Key skills and experience required:

  • Experienced within sales and account management
  • Experience with the FMCG & Consumer field
  • Key grocer experience within Tesco will be advantageous
  • Proven track record in new and existing business
  • Able to work to a high standard under pressure
  • A passionate, enthusiastic and driven approach
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative
  • Capable of adapting and communicating at different levels, both internally and externally with key stakeholders
  • Capacity to design, present and implement marketing and promotional ideas
  • Full, clean UK driving license

£38,000 - £45,000 (dependant on experience)
