National Account Manager
- Global FMCG brand seeks experienced sales person
- to take the lead on the UK sales team and expand the business further
About Our Client
Founded in the 1940's my client has retained a strong family run ethos that runs through the business. With a turnover of over £400m globally this leading FMCG client are experts within their market, they have a 40% market share in the country they operate in. The products are both branded and own label with my client manufacturing and distributing across Europe.
Day to day you will be managing the existing sales team of 3 heads with account management responsibility for the key UK accounts valued at about £36m. You will be expected to visit the UK head office in Watford approximately 2-3 times a week. Please note that you will also have to travel to the main European head office for 1 week per month in order to work closely with the main Commercial Director. This role can offer the successful candidate fantastic progression opportunities.
The Successful Applicant
The ideal candidate will have both man management and account management experience ideally working with a portfolio which exceeds £10m. This is a great opportunity for someone who is analytical and is a natural leader.
