About Our Client
Our client publish a portfolio of high-quality, visitor guides to cities and regions around the UK and Ireland. The guides are placed in the bedrooms of leading hotels, and remain there for 1 year.
The guides are funded by advertising sales to companies who are keen to market their products to visitors and tourists. Their advertisers include restaurants, shops, attractions, art galleries & museums, bars & nightclubs, etc.
Their portfolio currently stands at 30 titles covering cities and regions around the UK and Ireland, they are planning on adding more titles in the next year.
Our client are already selling their portfolio to brands such as John Lewis, Debenhams, Wagamama, Land Rover and many more. However they have only scratched the surface.
They need a top-class proven sales professional to introduce their portfolio of publications, websites and apps to similar household-name brands.
In this predominantly new-business role, you will identify national accounts who would benefit from advertising on the platforms. You will already have excellent contacts with leading advertising agencies and corporates. You'll have the experience and self-confidence to put together appropriate print, online and digital packages, present them to senior decision-makers, and propose and negotiate high-value packages.
The Successful Applicant
You'll be articulate, self-starting, and capable of working on your own initiative. Experience of advertising sales is essential, as is experience of selling digital and online products. It's likely that you will already be based in London but this is not a pre-requisite.
What's on Offer
Offering a minimum of £40,000 basic salary for this role, plus an executive company car. And there's no ceiling on the commission you can earn.
