About Our Client

My client is a rapidly growing utilities client based in the UK. My client is currently turning over in excess of £12m per annum in sales related revenue and has ambitious and exciting growth plans.

Job Description

The successful candidate will research and implement the right route to market strategy, introduce and recommend marketing and promotional activities and manage events along with the team and colleagues.

They will explore all business opportunities, with existing key accounts but also developing new business opportunities through strategic networking and a business development strategy.

The successful candidate will manage my clients direct and indirect sales staff and teams, ensure processes and procedures for sales are in place and develop a standard approach to sales across the team.

The successful candidate will also ensure that all administration is done efficient, the documentation is completed and there is a smooth transition to billing and customer service.

Finally, the new National Sales Manager will be reporting into the senior management team on all forecasting, sales revenue and general reporting, as well as a regular analysis of the market.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate for the new National Sales Manager role will come with the following background:-

  • Proven track record of achieving sales and successful conclusion to ongoing business
  • Track record of winning and developing business with major UK customers including blue chip, multi nationals with multiple locations and offices
  • An analytic thinker and someone that can understand, use and manipulate sales data
  • A creative thinker and a proactive approach with the ability to translate deliverables and outcomes
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Track record if presenting and pitching to major customers and senior stakeholders
  • Ability to build effective, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • A strong people manager who can coach, train and develop their people and teams
  • Ability to travel extensively throughout the UK for the role
  • We need candidates based in the South East England

What's on Offer

£45,000 to £60,000 per annum basic salary + car allowance + OTE
