About Our Client
The client is a well-established organisation operating in the Waste Management Industry,Â specialising in waste disposal and treatment.
The role of the New Business Area Sales Manager is responsible for identifyingÂ opportunities for waste business across South Wales, andÂ at the same timeÂ developing and growing strong, long-term relationships.
The successful candidate will effectively qualify and interpret customer requirements, working with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs. In addition, the New Business Area Sales Manager will respond to tenders with fully costed proposals, producing client quotations, and negotiating tender and contract terms to meet both client and company needs.
The New Business Area Sales Manager will attend networking events, trade shows, and conference to develop their credibility as a key industry player.
This is a field-based role covering South Wales.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will:
- Have a proven, New Business Development background
- Have a working knowledge of the Chemicals or Hazardous WasteÂ Industry
- Proven experience in Tender writing
- Be an effective communicator
- Be an intelligent negotiator
- Be a proactive networker
- Be a confident presenter
- Have excellent time management skills
- Be based on patch
