Job Description

  • Develop business opportunities through a personal marketing plan; networking and cross selling through building external and inter divisional relationships. Cross sell the wider Group portfolio services.
  • Virtual management of an extended team comprising pre sales and offshore team members.
  • Generate appropriate participation and buy-in from senior and C-level executives in client organisations.
  • Develop, grow & maintain a high level of commercial and business awareness within the client portfolio, including industry trends, financial performance, key players, and business drivers.
  • Develop and maintain a high level of understanding across Software Development and wider service portfolio, including value proposition(s), product/service functionality, pricing and profitability.
  • Thoroughly explain Software Development (processes, procedures and deliverables) both from a high-level overview down to the deeper user-level details.

  • Fluently manage financial and commercial tools to understand, explain and negotiate the best commercial contracts, and signed business.
  • Proactively manage your client's portfolio, serving as the lead commercial relationship between Software Development and the client. Expectations include senior level account management, ongoing account plans/planning, methodologies to expand penetration, business development and prospecting, continuous services improvement, and year-over-year revenue growth within the portfolio.
  • Provide regular management information, metrics and reports on sales pipeline, new opportunity development, forecasting and account activity against financial targets and quota milestones.

The Successful Applicant

  • Ambitious, driven, high intellect, self sufficient business developer.
  • Experienced in selling Software Development solutions with a proven sales track record within the private sector and software companies market.
  • Proactive individual with the ability to drive revenue and maintain margins.
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural team across different time zones.
  • Significant new logo sales and account development experience operating within a client base coupled with experience of the full lifecycle of product and service led solution selling.
  • Selling and delivering bespoke offerings.
  • Proved experience of negotiating, winning and delivering high value Outsourcing deals.
  • Ability to matrix manage an account and delivery team without necessarily having line management responsibilities for those resources.
  • Ability to operate at Board Director level within organisations.
  • Financial savvy, including the ability to understand client financials and create and negotiate sophisticated financially-led product and service proposals.
  • Excellent spoken and written English.
