Job Description

  • Lead and execute sourcing projects including strategy development, supplier negotiation, award recommendations, business case presentations, risk management and contract execution
  • Increase procurement coverage in Europe, ensuring strategies deliver competitive advantage and sustainable year-on-year improvements in terms of cost, quality, service and innovation
  • Perform total cost of ownership evaluations and supply-market research, and conduct pricing audits and impact analysis in the pursuit of continuous cost improvements
  • Identify and resolve strategic supplier performance issues to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Ensure compliance to sourcing and contracting policies and procedures
  • Improve communication with Stakeholders. Provide detailed instruction and continuous follow - up. Proactivity when managing internal and external customer's expectations.

The Successful Applicant

  • MUST SPEAK: Danish or Swedish or Dutch or German or Danish or Norwegian or Finnish or Icelandic
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent or equivalent
  • Professional Qualifications CPSM, CIPS, 6Sigma is a plus
  • Up to date on contract language and legislative requirements
  • Relevant sourcing experience in Indirect spend categories preferred
  • Sourcing experience with a Fortune 500 company, a leading consultancy, or a large service industry company
  • Proven experience in designing and executing sourcing strategies that consistently deliver measureable bottom line cost savings
  • Proven track record in influencing sourcing decisions within these specialist spend categories
