About Our Client

A leading travel business with a growing presence, they are looking to recruit an Online Content Manager to support ongoing growth. This is a newly created position in line with this growth.

Job Description

The Online Content Manager will report directly into the Head of User Experience and will play a key role in the Content Marketing Strategy. The role will have several key components:

  • Writing, editing and proofreading site content (primarily product copy - 20% of role max)
  • SEO, researching keywords and making sure our content ranks for them
  • Site performance, tracking and testing
  • Managing a growing team of copywriters (1 initially)
  • Developing a best practice guide for online content
  • Working closely with Head of User Experience to develop content marketing strategy

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following skills/expertise:

  • Understanding of web usability and conversion optimisation
  • Proven online copy-writing skills
  • Experience using content management systems
  • Google Analytics
  • HTML
  • Basic Adobe Photoshop skills
