About Our Client

National Manufacturing business with multiple sites across the UK, based within Northumberland.

Job Description

You will be part of a wider Finance team, however will be the main point of contact and solely responsible for the monthly payroll of c200 employees across mutli-sites.

Reporting into the Financial Controller your main duties will include:

  • Setting up new customer accounts
  • Daily bank postings
  • Chase customers for invoices falling due
  • Provide statements of accounts to customers
  • End to end payroll process (including RTI, producing and submitting BACs, processing starters and leavers, manually calculating some pay elements, producing all relevant reports, providing payslips and P45's for relevant employees)
  • Process and post payroll journals
  • Process and post overtime accruals
  • Process and post monthly bank reconciliations
  • Process and submit monthly pension schedule, inform the pension provider of any new starters or leavers
  • Must have the ability to process Payroll Year End and P11d's
  • Process credit card payments as and when required.
  • Credit controller duties

The Successful Applicant

In order to be the successful applicant, you must have had experience of running Payroll, ideally within a Manufacturing environment.
