Job Description

Role Description

  • We are seeking a People and Change consultants with experience of working within Banking.
  • The individual must have Change Management, Cultural Change, Strategy Development and Talent Management knowledge and skills.
  • They must also have proven experience working on and / or leading Transformational Change work-streams or projects within banking and wider financial services.
  • This is a high profile role within the team, requiring a balance of business development / sales origination and client delivery



The People and Change Principal Advisor will:

  • Work closely with the leadership in People and Change to: drive business growth; deliver outstanding client work; and be the face of P&C within banking and change
  • Represent banking as part of the cross-functional People and Change community
  • Drive the focus on banking change and culture, and the broader cultural change agenda
  • Lead risk / conduct culture engagements and related practice development activities
  • Contribute to the business development and sales initiatives including bid, proposal and contract / commercial negotiations with our Banking clients
  • Take a role in the growth of the team and wider practice, sharing knowledge and supporting the development of team members

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will:

  • Be credible and confident building new relationships at senior levels
  • Have established themselves in the market place as credible in culture, cultural change and change management practices
  • Demonstrate capability in one or more of the following areas: HR Transformation, Talent Management, Organisation Design and Workforce Optimisation
  • Has experience of working with risk and compliance colleagues and has understanding of the requirements with the regulatory environment
  • Coach and develop team members to ensure excellent client delivery whilst also enabling their career development



Sector Knowledge and Qualifications:

  • Investment Banking and Retail Banking is essential
  • Risk and conduct culture and FCA / PRA requirements
  • Insurance and Investment Management knowledge and experience would be desirable
  • Qualifications such as: CIPD, Occupational Psychology, MBA, Prince2 and Coaching would be beneficial but not essential



Experience and Background

The ideal candidate should have recent delivery and business development experience within a consulting environment, combined with transformational change experience in industry.

As a client-facing professional, you can be required to travel regularly, and at times be based at client sites, our client's flexible working arrangements can help you to achieve a balanced lifestyle. They offer part time roles with flexible working arrangements which could include, annualised hours, early or late starts to fit around other commitments, shorter working days etc.
