Personal Injury Partner
- A Personal Injury Partner is sought by an East Midlands law firm
- A caseload of mainly catastrophic RTA claims
About Our Client
An East Midlands law firm.
A busy personal injury department with a long established and loyal insurance client would like to bring a Personal Injury Partner (or senior solicitor, depending on experience) on board to work alongside the other Partners in the team and to supervise junior members of staff.
The team is busy. They have a client who is continuing to instruct them on defendant catastrophic injury work (RTA) and the Partners would like a senior solicitor to join to help them manage the caseload.
You will handle your own matters and will assist the Partners with business development opportunities and future work prospects.
This is an important hire for the firm and they need somebody with the right pedigree to join at a senior level to help drive the department forward. For the right person, salaried partnership is on offer or for less experienced candidates, a route for progression is available.
The workload is predominantly RTA work, with a small percentage of EL/PL work every now and again.
If you are currently a Partner within a defendant firm and considering your options, this could be a great opportunity to make the next step.
The Successful Applicant
Ideally, the Personal Injury Partner will have strong defendant experience - the client of the department is a huge insurance organisation so it is essential that you know how to provide advice to insurance clients. If you have a mixed claimant and defendant background, then it could be that you would be of interest too.
As this is a senior hire, the firm are looking for somebody who has Partnership pedigree. So you may be currently a Partner at a leading insurance firm or a Senior Associate with ambitions to make the step up. If you have strong connections within the insurance sector then this will be very desirable, although it is not essential for the hire.
What's on Offer
