Job Description

  • Manage the strategic direction of the paid search channel across several product lines.
  • Implement successful paid search campaigns and ensure best practice is adhered to.
  • Responsible for PPC budget allocation and planning.
  • Optimisation of the PPC channel to deliver ROI objectives.
  • Create compelling advertising copy and optimise to deliver continuous improvement.
  • Present recommendations for landing page optimisation to improve quality scores and conversion rates.
  • Analyse and report on performance to stakeholders.
  • Responsible for day-to-day bid management, performance tracking, keyword research, geo-targeting and competitor analysis.
  • Consistently demonstrate a sound understanding of how the TCF principles impact their role, and within the wider Group context including constantly reviewing or raising opportunities to enhance or improve the companies policies and service.
  • Develop a strong understanding of the company's products, competition, industry and marketing goals.
  • Remain up to date with PPC and search industry developments.
  • Identify areas of opportunity to grow campaigns and improve profitability.
  • Review and manage campaigns across display advertising.
  • Evaluate bid management software and make recommendations of their use.

The Successful Applicant

  • A minimum of 2-3 years' experience managing PPC campaigns.
  • Experience of managing PPC in the finance/insurance industry is highly desirable.
  • Confidence and experience in managing large PPC budgets.
  • A passion for PPC and online marketing, thriving from result driven success.
  • Budgeting, planning and project management skills.
  • Strong communication skills and managing stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • "Breathe" Google Adwords, Bing, PPC Campaigns!!
  • Preparation of creative advertising copy

Technical/Specific Experience:

  • Proven track record of similar PPC role or PPC campaign management, and can demonstrate improving performance and ROI.
  • Experience of natural search planning and implementation.
  • Google Analytics and advanced Adwords Editor knowledge.
  • Experience or understanding of Display or Content Network Management.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of keyword research and bid management tools and software.

Professional Qualifications and Associations:

  • Google Adwords Certified.
  • At least 2-3 years PPC experience.
  • Degree educated or strong academic background.
