About Our Client

Our client is a leading Birmingham visitor attraction that has multiple sites including several heritage sites. The organisation is looking for a PR Officer with great communication skills and is used to working in a fast paced environment.

Job Description

The PR Officer will be responsible for planning and executing communication plans and PR campaigns across the organisations multiple sites. They will raise awareness of venues with a range of external stakeholders and media. They will be point of contact for the organisation in relation to all press enquirers. The PR Officer will oversee the management of PR budget and will manage relations with external PR agencies. They will be responsible for organising and running press events.

The Successful Applicant

The successful PR Officer will have:

Demonstrable PR experience either in an in-house press office or agency

A multi-channel and creative approach

The ability to work confidently and effectively in a fast paced environment to deadlines.

Experience of planning, implementing and measuring PR campaigns

Excellent copy writing and proof reading skills

The ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
