About Our Client

My client is a recognisable charity based in Hertfordshire.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be overseeing the PR output at a number of my clients locations. They will need to possess excellent interpersonal skills in order to liaise with both internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will have previous experience within a PR position. It is desirable to have a track record within either an agency or not-for-profit organisation.

The Successful Applicant

  • Excellent writing skills with an ability to create press releases, briefings, campaign materials and e-communications content.
  • Previous experience dealing with media contacts in newspapers, magazines and online across regional and national formats.
  • Knowledge of utilising social media in campaigns.
  • Uploading content to the website and intranet.
  • Communicating difficult or complex messages or information to the media.
  • Creating, implementing and managing high quality PR campaigns.
  • Providing media and communications guidance to staff.
  • Assist to create an internal communications strategy including creating, editing and writing updates for the company intranet.

What's on Offer

The PR account manager attracts a salary of between £26,000 and £34,000 dependant on the candidate. The role is initially for a period of 6 months.
