Key Result Areas:-
Shape and lead an efficient and effective Annual Pricing Process which ensures cross-business engagement and delivery of robust, appropriate and optimised price increases each year.
Lead, manage and conclude these discussions to ensure clear guidance available to Brand and Commercial teams for practical day to day implementation and budgeting.
Work closely with the Finance department and Business Unit teams to ensure implementation of recommended global price floors and profit targets, and to manage the price increase process through the budget cycle, with subsequent reporting of achieved increases.
Develop Pricing Strategies with Business Units and lead communication with Brand and Regional Directors.
Provide effective advice and support to Commercial and Brands Teams at all levels as the lead contact to assist with implementation of Pricing Strategies.
Lead the monitoring of headline prices in market, traded prices, net customer pricing, competitor price activity and Edrington brand price increases.
Lead the co-ordination and organisation of pricing information transmitted around the business.
Provide ad hoc support to the Commercial team on all aspects of pricing.
Take a lead role in processing, managing and ultimately ensuring authorisation of E-Prices, and taking a view when to refer these elsewhere for approval.
Pricing System evolution - take a lead role in understanding global requirements, researching and recommending optimal solutions for our global/regional Pricing Management approach.
Seek out best practice and process improvement options for stock tracking and tracing, with specific focus on application of Lot Codes or other identification, traceability and anti-counterfeit measures.
Represent Business Unit interests in the wider Brand Security discussions alongside Legal, Manufacturing, Packaging and Brands.
Capability to manage either permanent or temporary support staff to deliver the above
The Successful Applicant
You will be graduated to a degree level or equivalent. An accountancy qualification and some experience in a finance / FMCG environment would be an advantage. You will be an experienced individual who works well in a team environment or independently and thrives under the pressure of delivering to deadlines. Self-motivated and proactive, you will have a strong completer-finisher mentality and be highly organised. There will be some requirement to travel in this role due to the handover taking place before end of year you will need to work between Glasgow & Perth until Dec (2016)
