Job Description

Private Equity Fund Accountant - Financial Services

  • Leading the day-to-day operations of the funds, including the regular preparation of NAV;
  • Producing the accounts for the fund and creating regular and ad-hoc reports for the various entities;
  • Preparing the year-end financial statements and be the key point of contact for the auditors, whilst managing the whole process;
  • Liaising with fund managers and investors;
  • Taking part and organising regular shareholder and board meetings when required;
  • Being involved in various ad-hoc tasks and seek to improve processes where applicable.

The Successful Applicant

  • An accountancy qualification (preferably ACA or ACCA);
  • The ability to manage workload, prioritise efficiently;
  • Strong IT skills, including Excel, and the ability to learn new IT systems and processes;
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral;
  • Ability to work independently as part of a team but also understanding the impact on the wider finance team;
  • A driven and resilient attitude.
