The client is a FTSE 250 retail bank which provides financial services to SME's and is listed on the London Stock Exchange. The Financial Services Company is growing rapidly after being founded in 2009 with a vision to operate a traditional model to raise deposits from retail and business customers to lend to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and homeowners.

Job Description

The Reading based Procurement Analyst and Contract Manager's key responsibilities are to:

  • Work with all business lines and functions to ensure a consistent approach to managing third party contract documentation is maintained.
  • Co-ordinate the governance and reporting processes around the Material Outsource and Critical Suppliers
  • Operate and administer the company's Contract Management System (CMS), ensuring all contracts up for renewal are identified and renewals tracked in good time.
  • Maintain up to date records for all third party contracts. This will include:-
  • Maintaining up to date copies of all signed contracts and associated documents.
  • Updating key contact details for all internal stakeholders.
  • Provide advice and support to all business lines on third party contract documentation including, but not limited to, non-disclosure agreements, the company's contract approval process and contract storage.
  • Drive compliance to any contract policies and processes within the business.
  • Support the negotiations of tactical contracts.
  • Provide process and system related support related to third party relationships across the Bank
  • Own the process for supplier on-boarding and associated checks.
  • Data analysis and production of required reports around spend and savings profile across the business
  • Work with the Finance team to define and develop the P2P process across the business
  • Provide strong stakeholder management and support to the business
  • Support the development of improved commercial negotiation capability across all business lines and functions.

The Successful Applicant

The Reading based Procurement Analyst & Contract Manager should have:

  • A proven track record of handling and managing third party contracts.
  • Experience of Contract Management Systems and controls
  • Experience of defining, implementing and running P2P systems and processes
  • Experience of establishing and running supplier governance processes and systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication skills at all levels of the organisation.
  • Methodical and structured working practices.
  • Ability to effectively utilise office computing solutions including Microsoft applications and contract database tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience of numerical analysis and financial adjudication techniques in a commercial environment.
  • Ideally experience within a greenfield environment
