About Our Client

Financial Services organisation based in central Birmingham.

Job Description

Align with IT, PMO and Transformation departments and support major change initiatives.

Deliver significant measurable annual cost savings in both budgets and cost avoidance.

Deliver procurement services to provide optimal value from all third party expenditure.

Drive insight through market research, bench-marking, supplier knowledge and networking.

Drive value through procurement deals, effective supplier management and contract negotiation.

Ensure compliance with relevant Procurement, Finance, Marketing, IT, HR, Facilities, security and risk management policies.

Build relationships at a senior level with suppliers to help drive value and ensure that strategies and plans reflect and deliver needs of internal partners.

Work closely with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities to drive value through consolidation of suppliers, effective demand management and deal negotiation.

Support the Procurement Manager in delivering commercial thought leadership across the business.

Deliver and communicate annual cost saving target as agreed each year.

CIPS qualified
