About Our Client

A leading UK retailer a European remit but based in the UK. A fast paced environment and difficult stakeholders.

Job Description

- Setting up governance forums by engaging key sponsors and subject matter experts

- Building project business cases (incl. agreeing scope and objectives) and identifying critical success factors

- Managing key stakeholders and dependencies to establish ways of work and alignment of approaches

- Producing the initial project plan, subsequently tracking and reporting progress to the governance forum

- Establishing and filling resource requirements whilst balancing budgets and individual development needs

- Setting up project/team budgeting, planning and deliverable creation processes, to ensure expectations are clearly established and standards followed

- Identifying and managing project risks and issues, escalating where appropriate

- Implementing projects on time and on budget

- Managing the project team at the same time as supporting team member on the job learning

- Tracking project benefits after go-live against the original business case and critical success factors

- Capturing lessons learned in conjunction with team members and other key stakeholders

- Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence

- Working closely with the Spend Analytics team to use data to make informed decisions to improve processes and efficiency

- Need someone who has worked within Logistics/ Transport/ Fleet procurement

What's on Offer

Fixed Term Contract for 12 months between £50- 60k depending on experience.
