Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a Full Time Procurement Officer to join our client to provide and promote a collaborative, client focused, quality and result oriented approach for Procurement across all Divisions, along with strong administrative and system skills to support the Finance Department, in line with processes and procedures.

Providing effective procurement administration support as directed by the supervisor, you will assistance with the preparation of Requests for Quotation, Initiations to Mini Framework ITQ Requests for Tenders Proposals and co-ordination of their timely dispatch by Framework Portals, Procurement Portals,& Email lists, liaising with appropriate team members or managers to ensure that a timely response is provided.

The Successful Applicant

As the Procurement officer you must be Flexible, Pragmatic and Responsive, you will have previous procurement experience, coupled with experience of administration within a busy office environment and of maintaining accurate electronic and paper-based data recording systems.

With good organisation and time management skills, you will possess good literacy and numeracy skills and have the ability to prioritise your own workload. Proficient in finance IT systems & Microsoft Office (Word & Excel) you must hold or be willing to work towards a relevant finance qualification.
