Michael Page Indirect Procurement are delighted to be working with this major Business Services Organisation to recruit a new permanent Procurement Policy Manager.

Job Description

Responsible for the production of the Procurement policy, procedures and processes in unison with tools and systems capability:

- Responsible for implementing new process or policies which arise as a result of group wide initiatives.

- Information security champion for procurement ensuring the deployment of targets to assist Support services in obtaining their objectives.

- Responsible for the Procurement Intranet pages and the external facing Supplier internet site ensuring all appropriate document and working practices are available to achieve best practice.

- Responsible for leading Procurement "Policy workshops" and mentoring the Procurement practitioners to ensure full understanding of new working practices

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Procurement Policy Manager for this business services organisation would demonstrate the following core competencies:

- Effective and experienced project / change manager

- Degree or MCIPS qualified

- Procurement practitioner with minimum 5 years experience

- Solutions orientated

- Analytical with an ability to critique and understand vast amounts of information
