Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Digital and Marketing, the Product and Insight Marketing Manager will have responsibility for three main areas:

  • Insight - customer, business and competitor
  • Product life cycle management
  • New product innovation

The successful Product and Insight Marketing manager will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the gold standard service ambition
  • Driving key opportunity messaging into the sales team and digital channels from insight
  • Own and manage the product life-cycle reviewing a defined portfolio of products and ensuring that products are reviewed on a regular basis
  • Conduct competitor comparison benchmarking analysis
  • Identify winning proposition features
  • Work with the underwriting department to implement and deliver refreshed products or propositions
  • Work with the technical and compliance teams to ensure all launches or improvements are fully compliant
  • Manage frontline relationships cross-functionally with all departments both in the UK and over seas

The Successful Applicant

The successful Product and Insight Marketing manager will have:

  • A degree (or equivalent)and/or relevant business experience
  • An understanding of the UK insurance market
  • Proven experience in product management and proposition development across health, personal lines and commercial insurance
  • Experience of an intermediated/brokered market
  • Project management experience to include planning, development and delivery of initiatives
  • Professional insurance qualification (DipCII) highly desirable
  • Ability to interpret key business metrics
  • Strong analytical skills that enable the identification of key trends and issues
  • Digital literacy and knowledge of modern digital tools
  • Experience in a multi-channel business environment
