The client I am working with are a leading bank, who operate within financial services. They offer a wide range of services to their customers such as current accounts, credit cards and investments.

Job Description

The role of a Programme Manager will involve;

  • Initiating and shaping a programme of work
  • Development of a well-defined programme plan, co-ordinating planning across multiple Project Managers and delivery partner teams.
  • Collaborating and influencing senior management stakeholders and business partners for all key programme plans
  • Determine, analyse and identify performance metrics and measurements and implement improvement plans to track and drive on time delivery and adherence to budget
  • Managing and co-ordinating the programme plan, handling changes as they arise and keeping stakeholders focused on the agreed change outcomes and benefits
  • Acting as a change leader with the business leadership and business sponsor

The Successful Applicant

A successful Programme Manager will have;

  • Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. Working within a Global Business
  • Experience working in relevant market/context, i.e. Working with a change environment
  • Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. Proven project and programme experience.
  • Past working experience on relevant systems, i.e. Clarity is desirable but not essential
  • A desire to find ways to continually improve the service delivered to customers
  • Set and achieved challenging short, medium and long term goals which exceeded the standards in their field
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is a articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audiences
  • Built effective networks across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the same
  • Planned projects and activities systematically in line with business priorities, using a variety of analysis and problem solving techniques
  • A successful track record of leading significant and complex business programmes, overcoming challenges to consistently meet/exceed objectives
  • A comprehensive understanding of the regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements associated with financial services and experience of working within these
  • Experience of building effective customer relationships which create customer advocacy

The role is for a Programme Manager and is paying £98 per day plus holiday pay
