Programme Director for an NHS organisation
NHS Board experience
About Our Client
My Client, an NHS organisation in the South of England is looking for a Programme Director to assist them for the next 6 months.
This role is to lead a review of acute services across a geographical location and an independent programme director is needed to manage several organisations at chief executive level and keep the consultants engaged.
The aim of the review is to ascertain which of several options of acute care are most feasible, with particular emphasis on:
(1) How activity can best be achieved
(2) What impact will be on resource available
(3) The workforce requirements
(4) The impact on surrounding acute providers
(5) The capital and revenue costs
This review has the full support of all interested commissioner and provider partners and will draw on existing evidence and programme work already carried out.
The Successful Applicant
A professional Programme Director with significant NHS Board experience would be best suited to this role - particular exposure to Clinical Care Pathways would be a distinct advantage.
What's on Offer
Remuneration will be commensurate with experience but is likely to be £800-£900 per day.
