My client is a well-established investment firm and one of the largest real estate advisory organisations throughout Europe.

Job Description

The Senior Project Accountant role will entail:

  • Setting up opening TBs into the new system
  • Assisting the Fund Controller in the flow of information and reporting timeline, and highlighting what source information is needed.
  • Working out the local accounting adjustments needed
  • Reporting set up and ongoing reporting to the US
  • Reporting timetable set up and adherence
  • Working with MRI accounting system - experience with this system is essential
  • This role also has oversight for a junior member of staff, who will work directly for the successful candidate

The Successful Applicant

The successful Senior Project Accountant will:

  • A qualified accountant with several year's PQE experience
  • System changeover experience and onward reporting
  • Ideally a property accountant, with an appreciation of the fund structure (purely for an accruals reporting)
  • Have system set up and reporting experience (specifically MRI accounting system)
  • Not shy away from low level work - especially in the set-up phases of the project
  • Someone keen to get involved and ensure that the project meets the deadline
  • Real estate property accounting experience.
  • Ideally from a background in a small business environment in Financial Services

What's on Offer

This is a 3 month contract with the opportunity to turn permanent. The successful candidate will join the busy finance team in my clients offices in the City of London.
