Job Description

They will collaborate with key stakeholders and undertake a range of developmental project work to ensure that new processes and procedures are developed and implemented, therefore improving financial controls.

The post holder will be accountable for all specific responsibilities assigned, whilst maintaining a flexible and responsive approach to all Finance needs.

To act as specialist advisor in the department in all areas Project related activities, including reviewing the operating system, both externally and internally.

Communicating technical and non-technical information as required in a clear and effective way for both technical and non-technical staff.

To work collaboratively with customers on gathering and analysing business requirements, to ensure that requirements are thoroughly understood.

Project manage from start to end the process for each year, with internal and external stakeholders.

Project managing design of business processes from end to end, including review, improve, agree and implement changes to policies, and procedures, ensuring that they are fully documented.

To take the lead role in specified areas; working across Financial and Legal Services to lead others to deliver strategic and operational objectives, work collaboratively with colleagues and to develop other team members within the wider Financial and Legal Services team through training on the use of systems and reporting mechanisms.

Preparation, development and liaison with key stakeholders in order to promote the use of the project and future initiatives including incentivisation schemes.

To develop effective reporting via excel, SAP, and other related reporting systems in order to present results, achievements and on-going areas requiring remedial action.

The Successful Applicant

Must be qualified: ACA/CIMA/ACCA

Experience in projects would be ideal

We are looking for someone who is creative, autonomous and uses their initiative and can liaise with internal/external stakeholders.

They are open in terms of having a private sector or public sector background
