About Our Client

Our client is a market leading private developer that specialise in High End Residential projects that are a mix of new build and re-refurbishment. Due to continued growth and new projects coming out of planning they are looking to appoint a talented project director to lead this flag ship project.

Job Description

Appoint and manage specialist consultants and the design team from project start to completion

Drive design team to ensure proposed build is fully cost optimised

Develop full project plan from design stage to practical completion

Provide guidance on the appropriate procurement routes and the multiple construction work packages

Preparation of work packages for tender, play a key role in developing the scope of work and specifications, undertake tender evaluations and more importantly play a significant role in monitoring and coordinating all stages of construction

Prepare full project appraisal to establish build budget

Drive highest standards of Health and Safety to ensure zero harm to all employees, contractors and subcontractors

You will produce monthly PM reports reporting on risk, program, health & safety and undertake the contract administration

Work closely with Site manager to ensure project deliverable are met on a weekly basis

Produce monthly valuation reports and interface with Project Monitor

You will report into general manager and have responsibility for all site staff and 3rd party resources

The Successful Applicant

  • 10 + years experience on the Head Contractor side
  • Demonstrable track record of Residential apartment projects above £5million.
  • Ability to manage the Statutory Approval Process
  • Ability to run an external Consultant Team
  • Strong Cost and Quality Management Skills.
  • Natural Leader and motivator
