Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available to join the central change team as a Change and Planning Co-ordinator to co-ordinate and drive the future change programme. This will be a highly visible role, providing the jobholder with the opportunity to learn and demonstrate a wide variety of technical, operational, change management, project management and analytical skills.

There is a huge amount of change planned - this includes application improvements we want to implement as well as technical and infrastructure improvements. The role will be responsible for co-ordinating and managing all system related change.

The roles will provide an excellent opportunity to interact with both internal and external stakeholders.

Managing the Maintenance Release programme - prioritising changes; contention planning; assistance with requirements definition; providing testing support; managing the implementation; and implementing the configuration changes directly into the application.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate would have experience of working on a change management role or in projects. He/she will benefit from having some knowledge of Banking systems and a good understanding of the Bank's operations, securities settlement and/or asset servicing operations. One team member is required to provide end of day support each evening - this is operated on a rotational basis and this role is expected to provide cover at least once a week.
