About Our Client

Located in East London this rapidly changing Social Welfare Charity is looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to join an exciting, Lottery Funded Project.

Job Description

  • Lead on and coordinate delivery of the Help through Crisis project in liaison with and with appropriate support from the Head of Advice
  • Lead on managing relationships with external organisations key to the delivery of the project such as funder and partners
  • Lead on the introduction of effective operational processes as directed including systems and paperwork (in conjunction with the Administration Manager)
  • Manage and drive all relevant project performance targets - to include individual and team targets. To implement any necessary support measures to ensure improvement when appropriate.
  • Ensure that all quality standards as required by funding bodies are fully met
  • Monitor project budget, income and expenditure as directed
  • Prepare verbal and written reports on project delivery as requested internally or by funders and deliver on deadline
  • Ensure that our "client first" approach is followed by all staff and relevant partners in delivering the project
  • Ensure that all project participants are given the best possible service in line with agreed guidelines and procedures
  • Ensure a safe and positive delivery environment is provided to all clients and staff - liaising with Community Links Premises staff as appropriate
  • Support and encourage a positive approach to continuous improvement and high standards of quality assurance, offering guidance and practical assistance with all necessary processes
  • Be prepared to contribute to the development of all advice programmes, ensuring an emphasis on quality, variety performance and continuous improvement is applied
  • Ensure [in liaison with Administration Manager] that staff are fully aware, prepared and equipped for external funder inspections and audits ensuring that all relevant paperwork and documentation is in order
  • Deal with any client complaints / grievances in line with agreed procedures

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will achieve the following:

Lead and co-ordinate delivery of project

External and Internal stakeholder engagement at senior level

Operational Processes including systems and paperwork

Experienced Project Manager

Management of budget, income and expenditure

Detailed reporting of financials to stakeholders

Contribution to development of advice on programmes

Ensure quality standard are met

Manage and drive all relevant project performance targets

Manage team of 1 Project Advisor and Volunteers

£30,000pa to £34,000pa depending on experience

35 hours per week

25 days holiday (plus 1 additional day up to a maximum of 29 days) plus public holidays
