Job Description

The purpose of the Project Sales Manager role will be to develop and drive sales opportunity and growth within the Social and Affordable Housing Sector.

The role will involve proposing, implementing and managing National Trading Agreements and Project Solutions with key clients.

The person will be responsible for positively impacting the market with innovative brand strategies geared towards the generation and maintenance of lucrative specification opportunities.

Existing Account Management will be required whilst prospecting for new business. The person will build relationships with established and new clients, identifying their strategic objectives and and embedding my Client's brand as the chosen partner.

The Successful Applicant

The required knowledge, skills and experience of the candidate will include:

  • Demonstrable experience in a commercially led Key Account role
  • The ability to persuade and influence and be an effective negotiator
  • A sound technical understanding of HVAC pipework and Drainage systems
  • Clear communicator and team player
  • Proficiency using a CRM system
  • Experience of a long term sales cycle - 12-24 months
  • Excellent account management skills
  • Dynamic strategic selling ability
