About Our Client

The Procurement & Property Team support the entire UK business. The team is based in Marlow but stakeholders and depots are spread across the key locations. They manage the company's supply base and property infrastructure and have a property portfolio totalling circa 600,000 Sq Ft across 7 Depots and 2 Offices. Their role is to drive costs down wherever possible and ensure they are delivering high quality solutions at the same time.

Job Description

Reporting to the Procurement and property Director your role will be to support the Property and Facilities Manager on a daily basis in delivering the Property & Facilities strategy throughout the business network, including:

  • Managing landlord discussions, lease renewals and document amendments wherever required.
  • Project managing small to medium projects that value up to £100k CAPEX from inception through to completion.
  • Providing MI to inform business decisions both such as financial provision, operational changes to site and any other ad-hoc requests as required
  • Supporting tenders and informing procurement on opportunities for financial savings wherever possible.
  • Working closely with the Facilities Supplier Manager to ensure that elective works are delivered
  • Dealing with license to alter documents and liaising with the lawyers, surveyors and third parties
  • Invoice management and monitoring spend with the finance team

The Successful Applicant

To be considered for this role you will need:

  • A Bachelors Degree (BA Hons or BSC Hons)
  • Experience of multi-tasking and working on a variety of activities / projects simultaneously
  • Sound commercial judgement and stake holder engagement.
  • Confident resolving issues whilst still considering the impact on the wider business.
  • Strong administration capabilities and IT skills, using bespoke, finance and MS Office packages
  • Ability to analyse and represent issues trends and opportunities in data (MS Excel).
  • Understanding of budgeting, financial planning and business case production.
  • First class communication and presentation skills.
  • An understanding of project governance and management tools and techniques.
  • Previous experience in any of property, facilities, and procurement or construction projects would all be advantageous.
