Job Description

Job description for the Purchasing Administrator:

  • Coordinate between departments and ensure all purchase orders are raised and checked
  • Update internal systems
  • Engage and communicate with suppliers and customers
  • Manage and update changes to the mills of materials
  • Update the purchasing manager on progress reports
  • Obtain vendor quotes
  • Occasional travel to supplier meetings
  • Adherence to companies policies and procedures

  • Good organisational skills
  • MRP systems use
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Ability to prioritise workloads
  • Strong communication skills
  • Appetite for progression
