About Our Client

My client are a global manufacturing organisation going through a period of rapid expansion in the UK.

Job Description

The successful SHEQ must come from a Manufacturing background.

The main duties of the position:

* Lead an effective safety and continuous improvement environment within the business.

* Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO9001 / ISO14001

* Review and progress the Health & Safety and Quality Management systems and standards within the company.

* Keep up to date knowledge on corporate, legislative and regulatory changes.

* Co-ordinate and execute HSE inspections & audits on site.

* Take an active role in the sites senior management team.

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will be able to work on an autonomous basis within an organised structure.

Desirable;

* NEBOSH qualified (or equivalent).

* Relevant experience of managing SHEQ / HSE function.

*Quality & QMS knowledge & experience
