Job Description

The successful candidate will work as a Quality Inspector, acting alongside the Quality Manager to carry out physical and visual inspections throughout the site, ensuring high quality standards are maintained.

The key responsibilities for the Quality Inspector will be:

  • Adhering to the processing of work in accordance with the production schedule
  • Committed to achieving delivery times
  • Able to adhere to all working standards
  • Understanding and interpreting Engineering Drawing requirements
  • Working within TS16949 and/or AS9100 or a similar Quality system
  • Working with CMM equipment including portable probe arms and laser tracking equipment
  • Completing Quality documentation including AS9102 FAIR's, Quality inspections etc.
  • Supporting the Production team in meeting the delivery targets for inspection duties
  • Capable of fully complying with the companies Health and Safety procedures at all times

The successful candidate will be passionate, effective and an engaging communicator and strive to improve the high-standards of Quality across the business.

The successful candidate for the Quality Inspector role will have:

  • A Technically Competent Level of understanding and interpreting Engineering Drawing requirements
  • Experience of manual measurement using general inspection tools and equipment e.g. micrometers, gauges, surface finish meters
  • Experience working with CMM Equipment
  • Experience working towards 5S and the cleanliness of working areas
  • Basic competence of Office MS Experience
  • Experience carrying out Physical and Visual Inspections
  • Experience within the aerospace industry
  • High communication ability
