I am working on behalf of a national property maintenance contractor who specialise in both the public and private sector. Current turnover £100m with a confirmed full order book and project pipeline for 2017. The companies vision is to be the leader in building and maintenance solutions, delivered with a professional approach for care for the communities they operate in.
Due to significant growth over the past 24 months, my client are looking to add to their commercial team. My client are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to lead on a £7/8m Decent Homes and Planned works partnering contract - focusing on kitchen's and bathrooms, refurbishments, external works and cut & carve.
You will be the commercial lead working closely with the client advising them on all commercial activity, as well as highlighting new opportunities for growth and future development. Having a strategic mindset is key.
The Successful Applicant
Quantity Surveyor to lead on a £7/8m Decent Homes and Planned works partnering contract:
- Experience working on Decent Homes, Planned, Cut & Carve contractors
- Main contractor experience
- Ability to liaise with clients and manage sub contractors effectively
- Been a commercial lead and managed a junior team
My client hold the 'Investors in People' accreditation and Responsible Small Business of the Year 2014.
