Job Description

The VP Finance based in London will have the following responsibilities:



Responsibility for design and preparation of quarterly management reporting packs.





In conjunction with the Asset Management team and senior stakeholders, provide assistance as required for acquisitions.







Provide calculation of amounts required for investor drawdowns, draft drawdown notices and monitor the timing and execution of waterfall payments.







Creating and updating cash flow forecasting models and analysis and oversight of cash balances.







Calculate investment IRRs and consider impact of business decisions thereon.







Monitoring receipts from investments and reporting to management, including analysis of cash requirement and surplus funds available for shareholder distributions.







Responsibility for investment performance reporting, from transaction level to presentation to management including investigation of unusual variances (in conjunction with the asset management team) highlighting key performance indicators (KPI's).



Dealing with a variety of ownership structures including partnerships, trusts and corporates (domestic and foreign).



Liaising with the Asset Management team to produce annual budgets, monitor to actual results and provide variance analysis.







Responsibility for all aspects of external loan calculations, recording and reporting, including ensuring that all loan covenants are met and that loan conditions are never breached.







Oversee the statutory reporting process, including liaison with external auditors.







Coordination, preparation and / or review of UK tax returns and liaison with external advisers.







Coordination with external advisers,,assisting with all aspects of statutory reporting, including tax, audit and property valuations.







Manage all the functions in connection with property management

The Successful Applicant

The candidate will have the following experience in the property and / or fund sectors:



5 - 10 years post qualified accountant experience with a practice background



Excellent academics, commercial awareness and leadership skills



Self-starter able to effectively prioritise work and meet tight deadlines



Excellent interpersonal skills



Excellent attention to detail
