About Our Client

My client are a global leader in technology protection.

Job Description

  • Management of the day-to-day operational recruitment as well as to provide an advisory service to the business
  • Liaise closely with HR director and HR Business Partners to receive updates on newly approved roles as well as talent work-streams in the pipeline
  • Assisting hiring managers to create job descriptions and hiring plans
  • Managing third party vendor relationships, ensuring all suppliers have signed Terms of Business and are working in accordance with these terms
  • Investigating opportunities for the introduction of new recruitment vendors, monitoring expenditures per vendor and the job vacancy
  • Where positions are to be sourced via direct recruitment methods, arrangements to be made for advertising vacancies on job boards as well as using personal network
  • Reviewing CVs and drawing up short-lists for managers
  • Organising Assessment Days for Care.
  • Help direct applicants to prepare for interviews
  • Promoting internal referrals via the Employee Referral Scheme
  • Running first round interviews for hiring managers when required
  • Partnering with the HR Administrator to ensure Right to Work visa checks and pre-employment vetting is in place
  • Ad hoc tasks to support wider HR function.
  • The role will also have ad hoc project work in areas such as interviewer skills training.

The Successful Applicant

  • Previous experience in an in-house recruitment role is desirable, preferably in both lateral and campus teams. Candidates who have an agency background will also be considered provided they have experience of managing projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Previous exposure to the full lifecycle of a recruiting role (Advertising/marketing, screening, interviewing, on boarding) and hiring for multiple positions concurrently
  • Knowledge and experience working with an equal opportunity employer and well versed in the acceptable practices of interviewing and recruiting in a non-discriminatory environment.
  • Previous experience with all methods of direct hiring including social media
  • Exceptionally organised and an ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines
  • A good verbal and written communicator and able to liaise easily with Hiring Managers.
  • Good interpersonal skills and in particular enjoy contact with others whilst displaying tact, patience and understanding.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, maintaining a positive outlook even when placed under pressure.
  • A good sense of humour!
