About Our Client
Michael Page is one of the world's largest and best known recruitment consultancy businesses. Over the last 39 years, we've built up a portfolio of 155 offices in 35 countries. Digital is one of our newest businesses, and has shown unprecedented growth in the last three years.
The role of a Recruitment Consultant within Michael Page is varied and exciting. As a consultant you will be given ownership over a selection of clients, and you will have responsibility for maintaining and building relationships with those clients. This will involve regular meetings with clients, consulting with them to direct role processes. You will also spend you time identifying, vetting and preparing clients for interviews, and negotiating offers.
No two days are the same, and each activity comes with it's own rewards; from the satisfaction of helping a candidate to improve their CV, to successfully handling a difficult negotiation.
Within the digital team, you will also soon become an expert on digital marketing and ecommerce, and be able to offer advice to clients on how to recruit these individuals, as well as challenge the individuals themselves.
The Successful Applicant
There are many things we look for in a future team member. Great communication is a must, as is the ability to influence other individuals at various levels. The right individuals will be looking for a long term career in which they will be rewarded well for hard work. A previous sales background is always a positive, and a previous career within recruitment would be a bonus, but neither of these things are key if you can demonstrate resilience and drive.
