Our Engineering & Manufacturing division is the UK's largest professional recruiter in this sector and will be entering an exciting phase later in 2013 as we look to expand further within Design, Development, HSE, and Technical on top of its current teams. This expansion means we need experienced individuals to initially aid with further recruitment in these areas followed by ongoing growth and management of related teams.
The initial role of the consultant is broadly to:
*Identify, develop and manage client business/relationships in a competitive environment. This can be with businesses of all sizes from global multinationals down to rapidly growing SME's.
*Assess and respond to the needs of each particular client or assignment and advise on suitable methods to ensure timely delivery.
*Significant networking to attract new candidates.
*Building relationships with candidates and clients.
*Offer consultative CV and interview advice to candidates.
*Source suitable candidates (either from the database or specific advertising campaign) and brief them on the opportunities offered by the client.
*Manage the recruitment process through interview to offer stage and beyond
Your responsibilities will include identifying, developing and managing client business relationships as well as selling our recruitment services and negotiating the rates of business. You will have to assess and respond to the needs of each client or assignment and ensure timely delivery. Additionally you will manage the recruitment process from interview to offer stage and beyond. That includes sourcing and interviewing candidates, negotiating salary packages and presenting suitable candidates to clients. Your goal is to build mutual benefiting relationships with clients and candidates and work as part of a passionate team to maximise PageGroup's commercial performance
The Successful Applicant
Previous experience as a Recruitment Consultant is preferred but all candidates must be able to demonstrate strong desire to succeed. You will also ideally be degree educated and:
* Demonstrate the ability to develop both new and existing business
* Demonstrate first-class communication skills
* Have entrepreneurial spirit, enthusiasm, drive and determination
* Be self motivated and competitive
* Have the ability to change your style of delivery depending on your audience
* Be an entrepreneurial individual who can demonstrate drive and passion to succeed in sales career
