The role of a recruitment consultant is an extremely varied role where no two days are the same. We believe that the only way to be able match candidates and clients together successfully is to make sure you are meeting and getting them to know them. A large part of your time will be spent away from your desk getting to know the people you are helping to recruit or helping with their job search.
As a Recruitment consultant you will be tasked from taking your desk (which will be starting warm-hot as opposed to cold) and growing it further- this is done through business development, networking and at all times promoting the best practice possible.
When helping a client fill a position your job will involve: meeting the client and understanding what it is they are looking for; writing a job advert and sourcing for candidates; meeting candidates and ensuring that they are the right fit for the role; helping arrange and prep candidates for interview and ultimately seeing the process through to the candidates first day and beyond.
