Job Description

Main Duties:

Reporting to the Recruitment Manager you will;

  • Develop a depth of understanding of requirements in your region in order to create and own an attraction plan that supports in the delivery of quality candidates to your area.
  • Advise and agree appropriate selection activities that support fully informed offer decisions, including the development of interview questions, conducting interviews and assessment centres.
  • Own the end to end recruitment process through to start date, ensuring equality of opportunity is applied to both current and potential employees. This will include using the applicant tracking system to manage the recruitment process, providing monthly reporting to the Recruitment Manager around agreed KPIs and MI.
  • Manage a high volume of vacancies across multiple services ensuring that priorities are identified.
  • Carry out detailed candidate short listing (including telephone interviews) and present short lists to hiring managers.
  • Develop relationships with key local external contacts.
  • Manage the area recruitment budget, including contributing to budget setting.
  • Ensure compliance to related legislation throughout the recruitment process.

The Successful Applicant


Proven recruitment expertise - gained either within an in-house or on-site recruitment role - that demonstrates:

  • Proven experience of managing high volume end to end recruitment in renewables or offshore energy sector
  • An understanding / practical application of a range of selection techniques including competency based interviewing, assessment centres and psychometric testing
  • Experience of a wide range of attraction techniques
  • Experience of sourcing passive candidates directly
  • Demonstrable experience of influencing and advising managers in recruitment
  • A thorough knowledge of relevant employment legislation, gained through either studies or practical experience in an HR / recruitment environment
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook packages (or equivalent) including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Driving licence
  • Travel to office locations both within area and to other areas will be required
