About Our Client

A leading FM Service Provider with an excellent reputation in the market for first-class service delivery across a range of contracts in the public and private sectors is looking for an experienced Regional Operations Manager to join their organisation delivering TFM services to a multi-million pound contract.

Their client is a well-established media and technology company that offers broadcasting and communications to the UK and had an enviable reputation for being one of the market leaders.

Job Description

With overall responsibility of the operational FM service delivery across the London portfolio you will be responsible for managing all soft and hard services and their 200+ employees including:

  • Full P&L responsibility of over £6 million worth of business across OPEX and CAPEX
  • Line management responsibility of one Head of Engineering and three General Managers to ensure all aspects of HR, Development and the highest standard of service are achieved.
  • Ensure pro-active H&S management, through provision of a safe multi-disciplined working environment, engendering & maintaining a safety driven culture, ensuring all legislative & company policies, processes and procedures are adhered too including standards ISO14001
  • Engagement, motivation and service standard setting with all hard & soft FM services
  • Management of UK&I Helpdesk for all reactive maintenance
  • Proactive involvement with client property changes to ensure effective operational delivery across all work streams with key input into the Contract Change Notification procedures, new property developments and project management across the London portfolio.
  • Manage performance measurement for self-perform and third party service lines to ensure excellent service delivery in all areas of responsibility in line with the Global KPI's and SLA's
  • Maintain strong stakeholder communication with clients in the national property team and local stake holders.
  • Proactive use of account statistics/analysis to drive informed decisions to improve the account performance
  • Fixed and variable financial management across the service streams including fixed, variable and ad-hoc billing.
  • Lead by example at all times and ensure that the service streams are able to deliver a world leading service, not only for delivering exceptional standards
  • Develop and maintain improvement plans, both in the short and longer term

The Successful Applicant

In order to be considered for this role you must have proven track record in delivering TFM services across a multi-million pound contract as well as the following:

  • Strong commercial acumen with previous experience of managing budgets in excess of £5 million
  • Must have worked in the Technology / Media / Telecomms sectors
  • Multi-site experience including corporate offices and media or data centres
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills
  • Must be able to demonstrate innovation and change management across multiple service lines
  • Demonstrable experience of developing teams to maximise efficiency and standard of delivery
