About Our Client

Our client is a large international engineering and manufacturing business of which the lubricant division is one of the most important and most profitable divisions. They develop, manufacture and blend a range of high quality and often bespoke industrial lubricants, cutting fluids and maintenance products. They are the market leader within the specialist industrial lubricants sector.

Job Description

The responsibilities for the Regional Sales Engineer include:

  • Promote sales of specialist Industrial lubricants and marking paints within the territory
  • Generate new business opportunities
  • Securing new long-term customer accounts
  • Strategic existing customer account management and retention
  • Distributor relationship management
  • Delivering revenue growth per annum
  • Generating new product and service development ideas from customers and OEM's (customer back innovation)

The Successful Applicant

We are looking for candidates with the following experience and skills:

  • Strong industry process/ application/ engineering knowledge
  • Proven track record in sales of differentiated products
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Strategic thinker with good planning and organisational skills
  • Results driven - dynamic, tenacious & resourceful
  • Highly motivated, able to work on own and as part of team with service, technical, manufacturing and marketing personnel
  • Ideally degree level educated or appropriate technical experience in lieu
  • Ideally located around the M4 Corridor (Bristol, Bath, Swindon, Reading, Salisbury)
