Our Client is a global leader in providing proprietary Bridge products. Manufacturing and providing a full turnkey solution. Experiencing and upturn in the global market has led to the expansion of the Export sales team.

Job Description

  • To deliver and maximise Sales of the Company's proprietary Bridge products in the UK & Europe marketplace
  • To provide Sales advice & guidance to potential Clients

  • Selling the company's products in the allocated sales territory.
  • Promotion of the company's products to customers in the allocated sales territory through presentations, trade shows, discussions, proposals etc.
  • Identifying, maintaining, analysing and reporting market intelligence in the sales territory.
  • Selecting, recruiting and managing (where appropriate) in-territory partners who can promote and sell the company's products on our behalf.
  • Establishing and managing Joint Ventures with local contractors and managing projects on a turnkey delivery basis.
  • Forecasting of sales and associated reports for the allocated sales territory.
  • Maintaining the company's standards of ethical business practice and promoting and protecting the company's good reputation.
  • Contribute to the building of a successful and professional sales team.
  • To work within the Mabey Bridge Business Ethics and Conduct policy at all times.
  • Travel to and visit all countries within the allocated Territory where sales opportunities are possible.
  • To proactively manage Client relationships throughout the sales process.
  • To work in accordance with the Mabey Bridge Sales Process and assume the appropriate accountability and responsibilities.
  • To record all sales activity using the Company's Customer Relationship Management Database.
  • To submit regular reports on Sales activity in territory
  • Travelling extensively in territory, up to 50% of the time.
  • It is expected that the successful candidate should be able to contribute positively in this role within three months.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Proven back-ground in building revenue streams in the International marketplace, either through an Export or In-territory role.
  • Can evidence the successful design and delivery of a strategy for business development and sales targets.
  • An understanding of the infrastructure sector (preferably bridges) in an international context.
  • Previous background of international business development in modular bridge products /construction services or products / road infrastructure either through export or in territory.
  • Background in the International Construction, O&G or Extractor sectors.
  • An Understanding of the emergency and military infrastructure sectors would be of benefit

What's on Offer

The successful candidate can expect a basic salary of up to £55,000 with a substantial benefit package
