My client is a global manufacturer of capital equipment, selling their products predominantly into the food, packaging and pharmaceutical industry. My client is a market leader, renowned for its innovation and creativity in the industry, an investor in its people both internally and externally.

Job Description

The Primary responsibility for the Regional Sales Manager is to provide key leadership and business development to the partners of the product portfolio across the UK and Ireland region.

Further responsibilities include:-

- Ensuring that sales budgets are agreed with all stakeholders.

-Manage and develop existing relationships whilst identifying new business opportunities across the region.

- Develop, document and maintain market knowledge thus developing joint marketing initiatives driving sales growth.

- Take a leadership role to develop opportunities and manage the entire sales cycle.

-Providing accurate forecasting and monthly reports as well as providing high quality after sales service including field service response and spares provision.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Regional Sales Manager will:-

  • Have ideally sold capital equipment into similar industries.
  • Have a successful sales track record selling a complex product in a consultative manner.
  • Be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate to stakeholders at different levels.
  • Be able to travel nationally with ad hoc visits to the head office in London.
  • Have the ability to meet strict deadlines and working under pressure.

Basic Salary £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience
