My client is a fast-growing, entrepreneurial Telematics organisation.

Job Description

The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for:

  • Developing an extensive pipeline of new business opportunities in the South West
  • Ensuring the organisation is invited to participate in major tenders and heir subsequent completion
  • Promote the organisation through attendance at conferences and networking events
  • Developing an extensive knowledge of the Telematics market in the South West
  • Securing a number of new Telematics contracts with a total annual value of £1m
  • Providing accurate and timely forecasts and reports
  • Developing strong interdepartmental relationships

This is a field-based role, covering South West England.

The Successful Applicant

The Regional Sales Manager will:

  • Have a demonstrable track record of winning new business opportunities
  • A background in Telematics or related technologies is a plus
  • Previous background in automotive, insurance, fleet management or logistics is preferable
  • Have a demonstrable track record of selling to Senior Management and Small Business owners
  • Documented success of securing new business contracts in excess of £200k
  • Have demonstrable evidence of consistently exceeding sales targets
  • Have excellent pipeline management and forecasting abilities
  • Have strong interpersonal skills
  • Have strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills
