Job Description

  • Develops a business plan & sales strategy by individuals as well as by team for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals & profitability
  • Responsible for the performance & development of the Sales Associates
  • Prepares action plans by individuals as well as by team for effective search of sales leads, prospects & activity generation
  • Assists in the development & implementation of marketing plans as needed
  • Conducts weekly standard work 1-2-1 review with all Sales Associates to build more effective communications, to understand training & development needs, & to provide coaching for the improvement of Sales Associates results & activity performance
  • Holds quarterly regional team sales meetings ensuring effective content & objectives are delivered
  • Provides timely feedback to senior management regarding performance both verbally & through Salesforce
  • Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all prospect quotes submitted for approval, while striving to maintain maximum profit margin
  • Maintains accurate awareness of all pricing, sales, & activity reports by Sales Associates on Salesforce
  • Creates & conducts effective & appropriate proposal templates & presentations as necessary
  • Assists Sales Associates in preparation of proposals & presentations
  • Controls expenses to meet budget guidelines
  • Adheres to all company policies, procedures & business ethics codes & ensures that they are communicated & implemented within the team
  • Recruits & hires Sales Associates based on criteria agreed upon by senior management through pre-defined process
  • Maintains professional & technical knowledge through educational workshops, training, self-study, relevant publications, personal networks & professional societies
  • Provides consistent forecast updates through effective Salesforce management & regular results assessments of Sales Associates productivity

The Successful Applicant

  • Experience in sales management
  • Significant experience with vehicle tracking solutions & SMB market awareness
  • Extensive appreciation in all aspects of customer relationship management
  • Willingness to travel & work in a global team of professionals
  • Proven leadership ability & or desire to drive new business sales teams & relevant behavior
  • 3 Years or significant new business sales management
